In this video, I peel away the protective film from the lexan body I airbrushed. After peeling the film, I then apply the decals.
Common practice is to lift the decal off the sticker sheet and just apply it on the body in the correct area. This method will lead to air bubbles and stress levels far beyond control 😅.
Instead, before you apply your decal, apply a mist of water, light soapy, or a water/isopropyl alcohol mix to the lexan body you want to apply the decal to. This will give you a thin barrier of forgiveness as you manipulate the decal into the desired permanent spot.
Afterwards, you can methodically push that misty water out from under the decal as if you were using a squeegee to get streaks off a window. As always, have fun and be blessed. I hope this helps.
