In December of 2024, I took a new direction in my RC journey by getting into RC drifting, I’ve built up my collection with two drifting chassis: a Yokomo RD1.0 and a Sakura D6. The Yokomo haven’t done much to it besides the stock esc that burnt out on my first run and the wheels and tires, and for the Sakura D6 i haven’t done much just basic electronics to get it running still thinking what electronics to buy

What motor did you want to run in the D6?

Nice rig! What track are you attending?

Driver2 I want to run the Hobbywing 10BL60 esc and the QR3650 motor, right now it has brushed electronics that i had laying around and it seems to be working, but I want a proper set up that i can enjoy.

IdealAutoFactory Thanks man, at the moment I cant find one that is near me so I made one in my back yard to get some practice in.

lil_b you could even check out some AliExpress specials like the Surpass Hobby Rocket RC motor and their ESC.

Their ESC has a BEC limit but still would be a nice little setup for under $200.
