Hey everyone from Melbourne, Australia,
I saw this posted up on reddit recently and my local track shared the page over on their IG, I’ve grown up on forums and it’s awesome to a fresh one up and running!
I got into RC drifting back in around 2007/8 when it was only really AWD and DIY counter steer setups around, had a few different chassis (Yokomo and Schumacher) but eventually sold up after a couple years.
Just happened to see some pics from street break circuit and that spark re-ignited instantly, jumped right back down the rabbit hole!
built up a D-Like LP-86 to drive around the garage as it was pretty budget friendly way to get back in the game, it’s a fun project to tinker with, just ordered a Yokomo RD2.0 as well..
Fortunately a new p-tile track opened up about an hour away (RC Drift VIC) had a chance a couple weeks back to run one of their hire cars around and the LP, best decision! Perfect timing and can’t wait to get out there again 😎
